I was inspired to create this David Bowie Blackstar tribute portrait using a small star shaped ink stamp. Every mark on the paper is made in Indian ink with this ink stamp to create this David Bowie art.
There are concealed David Bowie lyrics (from Starman and Space Oddity) within the artwork and a reference to Duncan Jones, David Bowie’s son. See if you can find them.

Getting the original artwork high resolution scanned was a challenge because of it’s size. This was done by Kaleidoscope Imaging Birmingham with a scan of 89.4MB. This was used to produce the print run.
