Maxim – The Prodigy – ‘Ant-Art’ Portrait (charcoal and ink)
The second piece of my Prodigy ‘ant-art’ triptych – Maxim of The Prodigy.
This portrait follows on from my Liam Howlett ‘ant-art’ and is followed by my Keith Flint ‘ant-art’ portrait.
I have used an ‘ant’ ink stamp with Indian ink to form the background and then charcoal for the portrait. I wanted to incorporate Maxim’s stage ‘mask’ and I have positioned this above and around his head to give a ‘halo’ effect.
Always such an incredible stage presence from Maxim with the Prodigy and their explosive live experience.
