Angus Young – AC/DC – Charcoal on Paper Portrait.
You have got to travel back in time to Sydney in 1973 for the moment that AC/DC were formed by Scottish-born brothers Angus Young and Malcolm Young.
Back to present day and still creating and blasting their steamroller Rock n Roll with their latest album POWER UP being testimony to this.
This is the band’s first album since the death of co-founder and rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young in 2017 and it serves as a tribute to him, according to his brother.
The ultimate ‘monster’ riff creator, you need to see Angus Young on stage performing live with his trademark Gibson SG to grasp the enormous energy and incredible musicianship.
In a recent interview I learned that Angus Young does not use any guitar pedals or effects, it’s just him and the SG.
This is my tribute to this amazing performer
